GO SAVER February 2026 fund performance by fund category

Here's a quick look at how GO SAVER performed in February, following a similar update for DEWS shared last week. DEWS and GO SAVER are the two official EOSB Savings Plans in DIFC.

Note: Performance data for the default capital protected fund is disclosed annually and results for YE 2025 are expected soon.

Diversified and fixed income funds continued to gain

Multi-asset strategies managed by Franklin Templeton delivered positive returns of between +1.4% and +2.2% during the month, supported by a mix of global equities and bonds.

Lower-risk fixed income and money market funds also moved higher, returning between +0.4% and +1.3%, while money market funds gained approximately +0.3%, reflecting the prevailing interest rate environment.

Equity funds saw more volatility

Global equity funds declined between -4.4% and -1.6% as several large US tech stocks (where GO SAVER Natixis Loomis and HSBC funds have significant exposure) experienced price corrections during February. Despite the pullback, both the Natixis Loomis and HSBC global equity strategies remain strongly positive over longer periods, including on a one-year and three-year basis.

India-focused equity funds produced mixed results, ranging from -0.9% to +3.3%. Mid-sized companies generally outperformed larger companies during the month, while weakness in large-cap IT stocks weighed on broader market performance.

Looking beyond short-term movements

Recent geopolitical developments in early March have introduced additional volatility into global markets. Equity strategies that are concentrated in a particular country or sector can therefore show greater short-term fluctuations than more diversified global portfolios.

For EOSB savings schemes however, short-term fluctuations matter less because contributions are invested regularly, meaning members enter markets at different levels over time. As such, a 3-5Y perspective which broadly mirrors the average employment tenure is more relevant.

Vestora will continue to share regular updates on EOSB savings schemes to help employers and employees better understand how scheme outcomes are linked to financial markets.
